Welcome to the permit management system for
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust

STEP 1 - Registration

You are required to register an account with us, which will allow you to apply for a parking permit for the hospital you work at.

When you register please use your NHS email address. If you are new to the trust and have not yet received an NHS email address use a personal email address and we will change your account after you have applied for your permit and have been provided with your email address.

When you register, an email will be sent to you to confirm you can access the email address. You will need to confirm this before you are able to apply for a permit.

STEP 2 - Your details

When you first register, you will be required to let us know your address, and to build your 'garage' of vehicles that you will be using on your permit.

You will be required to keep your address and vehicles up to date - if you don't, you could end up with a parking charge.

As you can only have a permit for vehicles registered at your address, you will be asked to prove this by uploading either a V5 Logbook, or insurance.

STEP 3 - When you apply for a permit

Please ensure you choose the correct permit for the hospital you are working at, as mistakes will mean your application is declined and you will need to apply again for the correct permit. This will affect your position in any waiting list.

All permit applications are verified by staff within the trust; this may include Human Resources, Security, Occupational Health and department heads.

Read the criteria carefully when you want to apply for a permit and ensure you apply for the correct permit. All applications will be thoroughly checked and any with mistakes will be declined and you will need to reapply. This will affect your position in any waiting list.

STEP 4 - Evidence for your application

You will be required to provide evidence to support your application as detailed on the system. This evidence will need to be provided in person to the security team at Lewisham Hospital before your application can be approved.

STEP 5 - Keeping up to date

Once you have a permit approved, you will need to keep your details up to date. This includes:

  • If you change the vehicle you will be using, you will need to come back here and change the vehicle details on the system.
  • If you change your address, you will need to come back here and change your address on the system.
  • If you change your name, you will need to come back here and change your name on the system.
  • If you change your role, you may need to come back here and aply for a new permit. If you need to do this we will keep your existing permit active until a decision is made.
  • If you no longer need the permit, you must cancel it or you may continue to be charged.
